In this paintings the artist has painted Nyumooli - Bush Soap. The plant grows near swamps, rivers and springs. When its dry the long pods splits open, the seeds inside are black with a little bit of fluffy yellow substance, when its dry that’s the best time to use it as soap to wash your body.
Not only is this used as soap, its also used to catch fish by cutting of the oxygen in the water, this is done by cooking the black seeds, mashing them up and throwing them into the water.
