Marcie tells of an ironstone rock that is situated on her mother-in-law's country at Norton Bore near Warmun / Turkey Creek.
The centuries-old rock, in yellow ochre, bears the scars and wear marks that are the legacy of the hundreds of hunters who have sharpened the heads of their kangaroo spears on the 'lucky' dreamtime, gnarrangkani, rock, prior to the hunt.
