STORY
"In my Kayardild language Kabara is the name for Salt Pan. My Country where I was born is near a salt pan on Bennck Island. The red clay of the salt pan was once used by our old people to treat wounds - this was done by rubbing onto the infected area and it also was used for ceremony and dance. White clay was eaten to cure belly problems and was also applied to body for war andceremony."
