STORYThe painting depicts the area where the artist used to live when he was younger. The Law for this country tells of Water Dreaming and is associated with powerful rainmaking ceremonies which call up the thunder and lightning. such activities in the Dreamtime are believed to have formed the features of the land here with its many claypans, creeks and saltlakes. The central area shows where a spirit-being comes up out of the ground. Area: Nyuntjul, near Lappi-Lappi.
