STORY
Ningie has painted some of her country located south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. This country is known as Yula after tjurrnu (soakwater) depicted as the central circle in the painting.The many lines represent floodplains as well as the tali (sandhills) found in this country. This is the country of Ningie’s youth.
