STORY
According to anthropologist Dr. Frances Kofod, 'Thoonbi is a small, beautiful gorge on the upper reaches of the Ord River on Bedford Downs Station in the east Kimberley. It is close to the place where the road into Bedford Downs crosses the river' (ibid, p.135).
